So I had my birthday!  There really wasn't much that happened.  Jack full body tackled a kid in the library for stealing his trains he was playing with and I hung out with my friend across the street until our husbands came home.  Well, maybe not that long but close.  Kyle carpools with her husband (also named Kyle).  It's a HUGE blessing to have someone across the street work in a building next to yours in Lehi.  HUGE.  I got a gift card to Joann's from Momma Brown.  I was so excited I went out that night to get some stuff.  The next day I decided to spend the rest of my gift card money so I packed up the kiddos in our bike trailer and road the 5.6 miles to Joann's.  We spent a few minutes in the store but I was pretty sure of what I wanted so I got everything cut and took it to the register.  After everything was all rung up I went to get my gift card only to see that it was actually a Subway card I had grabbed.  Ugh, so I left my stuff there and road home.  It was actually a good thing because I changed my mind on what I wanted to make when I got home.  I made a duvet cover for our old bed comforter.  Kyle didn't like the texture of it (it has some veloury/velvety stuff on it) and I was tired of the dark brown.  Next I'm doing the kids' Halloween costumes.  Kyle is not a big fan of Halloween (which is really quite tragic) but he knows I enjoy sewing for the kids so he humors me.  I can't wait until they are done!

Playing with shaving cream paint!

It was a big hit

Beware of the red/orangey food color cuz it kinda sticks in the grout.

Ummm, my daughter was bit immodest so I drew some clothes on her.  She'll thank me later :)

My kids are just freakishly adorable-it's true.

This one's for my mom.  Claire is wearing my old sweatshirt and holding her baby like a good momma :)  I think it looks like one of my old photos.

This is how Jack rolls!  Eye mask, headphones and glasses.  It's the "cool thing" to do around here.

Oh! And we have another walker in the house!  Claire has finally decided to join the bipeds and is toddling around just as a toddler should.  Whew, I was getting worried there for a bit.  She gets a kick out of her brother most of the time.  Sometimes Jack likes to shower her with kisses and hugs, which she gets kind of annoyed with and sometimes he tries to ride on her back when she's crawling-which ticks her off quite a bit but they are pretty happy together.  It's so fun to hear her laughing cuz Jack is doing something silly.  It also warms my heart when Jack tells Claire Bear to come with him or tells me she's crying and sad (he really does call her Claire Bear which melts my heart).  What sweet children I have been blessed with.
